Quilting Pashmina Shawls and Carpets in Nepal

After making it to the top of Sarangkot Mountain in Pokhara, Nepal we watched the sunrise light up the Annapurna Mountain range. At the top, a small shop sells pashmina shawls and carpets to visitors. Here is a short video showing incredible detail and effort that goes into each of these pieces.

Around Seoul: Seolleung / Jeongneung (a.k.a. Seonjeongneung)

Visit our travel website To the Nations Worldwide to promote your travel photos, videos, and blogs using the interactive maps!  Create an account and create your own interactive map to document your travels!

Seongjeongneung is a great place to go for a walk in Seoul.  It is an excellent example of the modern city of Seoul preserving it’s history.  Seongjeongneung holds the burial mounds of King Seongjong, Queen Jeonghyeon, and King Jungjong.  Walking around the entire park takes about an hour.  It is easy to forget you are in Seoul while walking through the forested area of the park.  On the borders of the park you can witness the contrast between the traditional Korea and the Korea of today.

Admission costs just 1,000 won ($1 USD).  To get there, take the subway line 2 (green line) to Seolleung Station and take exit 8.  Walk for about 5 minutes until you reach the park and turn right towards the gate.

Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada

The Falls, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada

Check out this blog and pictures, and many others like it, on our website http://www.tothenationsworldwide.com and feel free to create an account and contact us to promote your material!

It was a beautiful, but cloudy, autumn day in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.  On September 30, few days before our Canada wedding, we decided to hit the road and see the Falls.  After a failed attempt the previous day due to torrential downpour, we took our chances with this day which called for clouds and chances of rain.  It turned out to be a great decision.

We parked our car at the Skylon Tower and rode to the top to a 360 degree view of the Falls and the city.  Afterwards, we went to Clifton Hill to grab some food at the Rain Forest Cafe and visited the Hershey Shop.  We finished our day walking along the Falls towards our car and took in the amazing landscape.

Tickets for the Skylon Tower can be found online for about $10 (USD).  Parking can be found from $5-$10 within walking distance of Clifton Hill and the Skylon Tower.  There are numerous things you can do in the city of Niagara Falls.  Get some ideas here and book in advance.  It is a great place to spend the weekend with the family or with your significant other.

Did we miss anything?  Have any suggestions for a trip to Niagara Falls?  Let us know!
